MIKE MIKE MIKE SHIRT

“Mike! Mike! Mike!” One of Pixar’s most recognizable bird jokes has found an unlikely new home inside the San Francisco 49ers locker room.

The MIKE MIKE MIKE SHIRT replaces the endlessly squawking Finding Nemo seagulls with birds wearing Mike Evans’ smiling face. It is the wonderfully ridiculous NFL-meets-Disney parody seen on Trent Williams during the 49ers’ unbeaten 2026 start.

Storytelling:

In Finding Nemo, the seagulls famously repeat “Mine! Mine! Mine!” whenever something catches their attention. Swap a single letter, and “Mine” becomes “Mike,” turning the scene into a chant for Mike Evans.

That wordplay arrived at an unusually fitting time for San Francisco. Evans joined the 49ers after 12 seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, arriving as an established star receiver. On October 11, 2026, he helped beat the Seattle Seahawks 32–29, recording seven receptions for 113 yards and a touchdown despite battling a rib injury. The victory put San Francisco at 5–0.

The joke was more than an isolated movie reference. Following the Seattle game, a 49ers locker-room clip sparked discussion of a repeated “Mike” chant that fans compared to the Finding Nemo seagulls. Supporters on Reddit even imagined an entire crowd at Levi’s Stadium joining in. Those were fan hopes, not an announced stadium tradition.

Then, on October 16, photos of the team’s Mike Evans tribute shirts circulated. George Kittle, Fred Warner and Christian McCaffrey appeared in a different motivational-message design. Trent Williams, however, wore the seagull version: rows of cartoon birds with Evans’ face and variations of “Mike” scattered overhead. That distinction makes this shirt its own viral moment, not simply another version of Kittle’s tribute.

Bleacher Report

Product Description:

The MIKE MIKE MIKE SHIRT – Trent Williams’ Mike Evans Finding Nemo Seagulls Tee turns a familiar animated-film gag into a specific piece of 49ers fan humor.

Instead of relying on a player number or a generic victory slogan, the artwork builds its entire personality around an easy-to-hear pun and an instantly recognizable visual setup.

Its white shirt background gives the colorful rectangular scene room to stand out, while the repeated Evans faces reward a second look. It suits a 49ers watch party where fellow fans recognize the joke instantly.

Visual Interpretation:

The graphic is a horizontal, red-bordered cartoon panel placed high on a white shirt. Inside, gray-and-white seagulls with orange feet and beaks perch against a blue-sky coastal background. But each bird has a cutout-style version of Mike Evans’ bearded, smiling face instead of a normal bird head.

Smaller gulls fill the middle and upper areas, echoing the original Finding Nemo scene.

At the front right, one oversized Evans-headed seagull leans toward the viewer, making the absurdity impossible to miss.

Scattered black “mike,” “MIKE,” and “Mike” labels reproduce the rhythm of the famous “Mine!” refrain without needing a long caption. The red outline ties the image loosely to 49ers colors.
