JEREMIAH SMITH HEISMAN POSE SHIRT

One touchdown. Three Ohio State receiving records. And a celebration that told the college football world exactly what Jeremiah Smith was chasing.

The Heisman pose.

During Ohio State’s October 3, 2026, victory over Iowa, Jeremiah Smith caught a 57-yard touchdown pass from Julian Sayin, broke the Buckeyes’ career receiving touchdown record, and immediately struck the unmistakable Heisman Trophy pose.

The JEREMIAH SMITH HEISMAN POSE SHIRT captures that defining moment with an illustration of Smith in his white Ohio State #4 uniform, his signature-style lettering, the Buckeyes logo, and a Heisman Hopefuls emblem.

For Ohio State fans, it represents more than another spectacular touchdown. It captures the afternoon Smith completed the program’s receiving triple crown and made his Heisman ambitions impossible to ignore.

Storytelling:

Ohio State has produced some of college football’s most celebrated wide receivers. Cris Carter, David Boston, Chris Olave, Garrett Wilson, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Marvin Harrison Jr., and Emeka Egbuka helped establish Columbus as one of America’s premier destinations for elite receiving talent.

By October 2026, Jeremiah Smith had surpassed every one of them in the program’s three major career receiving categories.

The milestone arrived against Iowa at Kinnick Stadium on October 3.

Smith caught 11 passes for 206 yards and two touchdowns as the Buckeyes defeated the Hawkeyes 31-14.

His second touchdown, a 57-yard connection with quarterback Julian Sayin, gave him 36 career touchdown receptions, breaking Chris Olave’s previous school record of 35.

Smith also passed Emeka Egbuka’s career receptions record during the game, completing an extraordinary receiving triple crown.

At the end of that performance, his Ohio State career totals stood at 207 receptions, 3,381 receiving yards, and 36 touchdown catches.

But the moment that made the performance especially memorable wasn’t another statistic.

It was the pose.

After scoring his record-breaking touchdown, Smith struck the iconic Heisman stance in the end zone, bringing his 2026 trophy ambitions directly into the national conversation.

The celebration carried historical significance. The Heisman pose is deeply associated with Desmond Howard’s famous 1991 touchdown celebration and remains one of college football’s most recognizable gestures.

Smith’s version connected Ohio State’s newest receiving legend with that tradition.

The Heisman Trophy organization subsequently highlighted Smith’s performance and his place among the 2026 award contenders.
